Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood turns 47 on March the 14th. Since his debut in Bollywood, Aamir has come across a long journey, during which he constantly kept masses apprised of is incredible acting skills.

So on his birthday, lets have a look at the Bollywood journey of Mr Perfectionist.



1. Beginning as Lover Boy
Aamir's first onscreen appearance was as child artist in cine flick Yaadon Ki Baarat. With his first commercial success Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Aamir emerged as a star overnight.

Post the success of QSQT, Aamir got tagged with a lover boy title, which he reprised in many of his later releases like Dil, Deewan Mujh Sa Nahi also.



2. Perfectionist's Diversity Scoop
Another quality of Aamir that makes him stand apart of other Khans is, his ability to get into the soul of his character.

Be it the patriot revolutionary of Mangal Pandey, an IPS officer of Sarfarosh or the psychopath of Ghajini, Aamir knows how to bring his character to life, and to make it immortal in the memories of his fan clan.

Aamir's three cine flicks Lagaan,Taare Zameen Par and Peepli Live (as producer ) made their way to the nominations for Best Foreign and Foreign Language films category at Academy Award.

4. Personal Life
Unlike his career graph Aamir's personal life had a plunge in the recent past, when he parted his way with her ex-wife Reena Gupta.

Aamir married Reena in 1986 and has two children namely Junaid and Ira. Post his divorce Mr Perfectionist found his new life companion in director Kiran Rao.

The couple had recently been into limelight for opting the IVF technique for conceiving their recently born child.



5. Awaited Flicks
Well, its a known fact, that Aamir is quite choosy about his films and prefer doing a good amount of homework before getting them on the big screen.

This year Aamir will be seen donning a cops attire in is upcoming delayed release Talaash,reports also suggest that Aamir will also be seen in a baddy avatar in YRS's Dhoom-3.



6. Small Screen Debut
After rocking the big screen Perfectionist Khan is all set to prove the elegance of his wow some aura on the small screen also.

Reports suggest that Aamir will be seen hosting a show on the Star TV, which is expected to be on air by June this year.
